Madysen Reilly is a senior at Dundee-Crown High School and loves the community that Dundee provides through its many festivals and celebrations. At school, Mady is a part of the Dundee-Crown Dance Team, Chamber Choir, and a plethora of other clubs! In her free time, she loves to volunteer and has a passion for serving those with disabilities. Mady is stoked to be a part of the parade this year and embrace her Irish Heritage.
Noah Ashur Kano was born on September 14,2006. It was his mom's birthday and she still tells him that he's the greatest gift she has ever received. Noah is a junior in high school and his favorite subject is English. Noah was born blind but says " I have never let that stop me. I love music, electronics, my family, and my 4 dogs. I also love fostering dogs with my mom and spending time with my grandma."

Our winners are treated to a morning at Spa Bleu, the beautiful and premier Spa in West Dundee. Spa Bleu has been a sponsor to our mission for several years, and once again volunteered to continue to support and help us promote the creativity and talent of the youth in our community.

Thom McNamee and his twin brother Tim grew up enjoying the Fox River and all that the Dundee Township had to offer. They were avid outdoorsmen who loved nature. They were truly passionate about preserving its beauty and giving back to the community they adored.
Thom donated the Tim McNamee Park and Canoe Launch in Carpentersville on the Fox River in Tim’s memory. Thom continued investing in the downtown area of East Dundee, actively supporting local businesses through his revitalization of the River and Water Street areas.

How to Enter
Please submit an essay describing what hopes and dreams you may have regarding the future of our environment and describing how to help make those dreams come true.
The Parade King will be entitled to a $500 College Scholarship and part of the Parade.
Other requirements
1. Must be a Resident of Dundee Township
2. Must be in Grade 9-12 at a local high school
4. Complete the application
5. Prepare a 2–3-page essay describing your hopes and ideas for a “green” future.
