We are very grateful for the incredible contribution to food pantries we were able to do because of your generosity.
Carol's Corner - 2021 Winner -
collected so much money AGAIN!
Carol's team and the customers were INCREDIBLE!
Over the years, we have helped countless individuals and families by donating all the money made during the Shamrock for Charity program back to food pantries in our community.
The Brad McFeggan family collects buttons and other charity items throughout the season always topping the biggest donor to Shamrocks to Charity.
2023 Most artistic display !
Thank you to the McFeggan family that travels around from business to business buying the Shamrocks for Charity Limited-Edition Buttons!
Their support helped us sell hundreds of buttons!
2023 Shamrocks for Charity collection has been incredible!
Since this video was created, the collection has doubled.
Since 2018 the Shamrocks for Charity project has collected more than $27.000!
Local establishments sell and display handcrafted postcard signed shamrocks for $5. Year after year our Shamrocks have been recycled and reused.
In 2022 we expanded and sold customized commemorative buttons and suspenders to help raise over $7000. In fact, we are very proud to say every penny collected for the Shamrock’s sale leading up to the Parade has raised more money year after year!
We hope to continue that tradition in 2023 and are happy to involve more businesses to help us.
If you have any questions or suggestions – we want to hear them!

And thank you to the community.
Businesses and bars collected an astounding $7000.00 in 2022 for Charity.
A $50 prize to the person that collects the most buttons!
A big congratulations and giant thank you to Carol’s Corner!
Another year passed without our annual Parade. This did not deter the bars and restaurants in East Dundee participating in the Shamrocks for Charity.
Bars across town were once again decorated with Shamrocks with patron’s name on them. Fashionable Shamrock for Charity buttons were sold. Many generous folks proudly wore them throughout the season. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our community as we collected $2100.00!
Carol’s Corner sold hundreds of buttons and Shamrocks!
Shamrocks with customers signatures were plastered on their walls! They collected just under ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
2021 Other Rock Stars and Partners in our Mission
Other establishments that participated were, Diamond Jim’s, Rosie O’Hare’s, Black & Grey, River Street Tavern and Cubby Bullfrog.
Diamond Jim's sold an astounding $785.00 worth of Shamrocks to take the trophy for most money raised during the weeks leading up to our cancelled 2020 Parade. We are so grateful! This money was given to local food pantries as the need for help was never greater. Thank you Diamond Jim's!
Chubby Bullfrog Bar & Grill!
Chubby's sold $2200 worth of Shamrock's and holds the top spot for money collecting.
Our Dundee community supported the idea to advertise St. Patrick's Day greetings on postcards for $5.00. We now have a friendly community competition, and the results are thousands of dollars donated for food pantries and the McNamee Foundation charities. The establishment that raises the most funds gets the Shamrock Trophy for a year.
